If you follow BeachBody, you know that they came out with an awesome new program called Les Mills Combat. If you don't follow BeachBody then, Hi and welcome to my blog HAHA.
Les Mills Combat is a mixed martial arts-inspired body transformation program. It uses dynamic martial arts-inspired training with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to push your body far beyond what it's done before.
Personally I LOVE this program so far because I'm able to keep up with what the trainers are doing. It's ok to fall a little behind, but the moves actually make sense and flow together. At the same time it really pushes you to work up a sweat. Maybe even a swear or two. I hadn't worked out in a really long time but I was able to complete the workout, to the very end. Every. Single. Move. My muscles felt GREAT afterwards and I knew I challenged myself. Yet I wasn't curled up in a ball sucking my thumb on the floor.
I had a few choice words for the trainers during parts of the workout but I sucked it up and did it. I won't lie that I had difficulty with the kicking. It's not really my forte. But I'm getting BETTER and that's what it is about. TRYING.
Overall I'm EXCITED for the next 60 days. Goal: Hit 200lbs
Mission Accepted.
