Les Mills Combat Update

It's been a few days since I posted so I thought I would do an update. I haven't seen the scale budge much, been floating around 243 for the last week. It's been pretty frustrating. 

I've managed to do all the workouts so far. Les Mills has been AMAZING, I LOVE the workouts themselves, but my body does have difficulty with floor work {think push-ups, burpees, combos, etc}. I think because of this, until I'm in a position where my elbow can handle more stress, I'm going to avoid the HIIT workouts. On those days I may replace the workout with Combat 45 or 60, I'm not really sure yet.

But back to what i was originally blabbing about. I have been frustrated that I haven't seen the scale move. Let's be honest, most people gauge their progress by their weight. I wasn't happy with that so I decided to attempt to measure myself. It's a little harder on your own but it wasn't horrible. I didn't pull the measuring tape tight so you can't say I {cheated} because well, I didn't.

Since January 5th {19 whole days ago}, I've lost 15.5" all over my body. 15.5!

I still really can't explain the whole scale thing, or why my clothes {seem} to fit the same way they did. Apparently mother nature is screwing with my head, or elves are sewing my clothes smaller for me. I'm not sure which one. I know muscle is great and all, but maybe it could like.... go away until I'm skinny...

Today was rest day, back at it again tomorrow! Don't forget to get your Combat on!
