Focus? What Focus?!

This has been the week from *ahem*, yea worst week in a while. Not necessarily with my diet, ok with my diet; but also everything else that could go wrong, basically did.

- Not eating right? Check
- Car Issues? Check
- Fearing for my life? Check (see #2)
- Being completely stressed out? CHECK

As many of you know (and by many I mean the 5 whole people who possibly read this) I move tomorrow. YAY FOR MOVING! I'm excited to move but at the same time I DESPISE moving. No Really, despise, seriously.

I'm 98% packed and ready to go, so the anxiety doesn't come from not being ready to move.
The anxiety is all about being exhausted after I move. I'm moving some stuff in the morning, going to work, and then moving everything else after work. It's going to be a long day. Thankfully the weather is supposed to be nice this weekend. So Lilly and I will go explore our new neighborhood and I'll more than likely spend Sunday by the pool.

To add to the anxiety of the week, my car decided now would be an AWESOME time to crap out. If it was hot out it was overheating. I could drive a whole 5 miles before it was at it's brink. So my buddy Fred replaced the thermostat and that seemed to fix the issue. Cheap fix except for all the coolant I then had to buy, gotta love when the car gets so hot it boils it all out! During all of this my car was also having issues stalling when the RPMs would get low. So at every stop light or even in rush hour traffic my car would stall. I drove to work and the car died 6 times. 6 TIMES! Talk about not safe, started to fear for my life and safely getting anywhere! So I reached out to basically anyone on my facebook to see what was happening with the lovely Z34 and my buddy Haak said it could be the MAF sensor.

This little piece can cost upwards of $400 if you get a brand new one and are silly enough to NOT shop around. Let's face it I don't have $400 to drop on a sensor. I was able to find one at about $140 before tax. But to be on the safe side I also got some MAF cleaner (just in case I could clean mine and save $140), and I also had to get the special security screw remover deals, yea IDK what they are called and I'm not going to google it for you, but they are theft deterrent or something like that. After trying to clean the MAF i had NO luck and I did need a new one. Out the door went about $220 in a matter of 30 hours. Now when reviewing how to install and clean a MAF I found out that there are two platinum wires that are in the sensor. Might explain why it can cost upwards of $400. Now that the new MAF is in my car runs great. I don't fear for my life and I don't waste gas. Thanks Haak, I'll bake your cookies eventually!

Since I'm moving there is this thing called rent and a deposit, since I just dropped $220 unexpectedly I'm loving the idea of not having a dining room table because I have no money. *sad face* No worries though, I budget well and will still be able to eat the cheap food from Aldi's across the street from my new place and Lilly has her food for the month already so score on not having to buy that for a while! With everything going on I've been avoiding any real meals where you have to cook, and let's face it I don't have much food to cook anyways =)

With all of my venting out of the way I'd like to mention the fact that I've eaten like crap and not had a workout since last weekend. When this happens you gain weight. YAY! So I'm now up to 268.2 and to be honest, I'm ok with that. Your body fluctuates every day in weight between 2 and 4 pounds. So a gain of 3.7 pounds doesn't really bother me. Whatever I'll kick it all this next week and get back on track. Car is fixed and move will be over. I'll have a workout room and a pool and well not better food but it is what it is =)
